West Ham manager Nuno remained noncommittal when discussing Wilson’s status before the Spurs encounter. Basel’s sporting director Daniel Stucki confirmed his expectation that Otele will depart this month, following a failed transfer to Russia during the summer period.

He acknowledged that while Otele’s departure was expected previously, it ultimately did not materialize due to political considerations, but recent signings now create space for his potential exit.
