Brazil: Neymar will be out for at least 10 days and won’t return until the quarter-finals
Injured in the ankle against Serbia this Thursday evening, Neymar will be out of action for at least 10 days if we are to believe the first information that has reached us.
Victim of a sprained ankle, the Brazilian playmaker will not be restored before the quarter-finals in the best of cases. Very bad news for the Brazilian selection which will have to do without its star and above all qualify without her to give Neymar a chance to finish the competition.
This is obviously a minimum duration of absence since a sprain can keep a player away from the field for several weeks in the worst case.
While it was feared that the foot would also be affected, knowing that the Brazilian has long had to fight against metatarsal injuries, it would seem from the first elements that this is not the case.
