Norwich City: Scouts sent to watch this player

Wolfsburg has reportedly sent two scouts to watch Norwich City’s Max Aarons during their 2-0 victory at Blackburn Rovers. The Bundesliga outfit is said to be considering a summer swoop for the right-back, who could be available for around £10m as he enters the final year of his contract with Norwich.

Tottenham Hotspur, who have previously expressed interest in Aarons, are also rumored to be potential suitors. Despite constant speculation surrounding his future and previous offers from Barcelona and Roma, Aarons has remained professional throughout his time at Norwich.

He has made over 200 appearances for the club and played an integral role in their promotion campaigns. This season alone, he has scored one goal and recorded two assists in 39 Championship appearances under David Wagner since January.

Norwich may need to sell some assets if they fail to secure a Premier League return this summer. As such, Aarons is viewed as a saleable asset should that scenario play out in the coming months.

However, when asked about his future plans recently, Aarons stated that while discussions between himself and Norwich representatives were scheduled for the summer, his focus remains on helping City finish strong in their Championship campaign.
