Everton: This player does not want to hear from the Toffees anymore and is almost already gone

Isaac Price is reportedly set to leave Everton as he has decided that the club is not right for him. Despite holding talks with the club over a new contract, it appears that he will join Standard Liege instead. The 19-year-old had an admirer in Frank Lampard but is now expected to seal a cut-price compensation deal and move to Belgium.

If Price isn’t close to the first-team setup, then Sean Dyche does not rate him highly enough, so it’s his call that matters at the end of the day. This Everton midfield has solidified under Dyche so he clearly knows what he wants from his players and will demand a certain level of quality in that area of the pitch.

Idrissa Gueye, Amadou Onana and Abdoulaye Doucoure have all improved over the past few weeks and James Garner too appears to be getting integrated well with the rest of his teammates. Price made his league debut on the final day of last season and hasn’t done overly well for the under-21s to stake a claim for a place in the matchday squad.
