A deal Arsenal – Rangers is close to be signed for a talented prodigy!
Arsenal is on the verge of securing a deal for Rangers’ young prodigy, Alexander Smith. The 15-year-old Scottish-born attacking midfielder has already made an impact on the international stage, representing both the USA Under-15s and Scotland’s Under-16 team.
Smith’s talent was evident at last year’s East Mallorca Cup in Spain, where he earned four Man of the Match awards across five matches. His performance included a notable victory over Liverpool, further solidifying his reputation as one to watch.
The North London club is prepared to compensate Rangers with a significant six-figure sum for their rising star. This move aligns with Arsenal’s strategy of investing in youthful prospects under Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu’s leadership.
In addition to Smith, Arsenal has its sights set on Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams. With five goals and ten assists this season, Williams has also turned heads playing for Spain.
Ajax’s Jorrel Hato is another name linked with a potential Emirates Stadium switch. At just 17 years old, Hato has captained Ajax and could provide versatility in defense for Arsenal.
To facilitate these acquisitions, Arsenal might offload defender Jakub Kiwior. Despite joining from Spezia for £21m in January 2023, Kiwior hasn’t secured a consistent starting role and could be headed out amidst interest from Juventus.
Arsenal fans eagerly await updates as the summer transfer window approaches, anticipating new talents that will bolster the squad for future campaigns.
